The Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School JCL began in 2005 with a small group of individuals who were passionate about the classics and it has grown to be one of the largest clubs at our school. We strive to uphold and promote the values of Ancient Greece and Rome while using those values to enhance our education in the culture of their era. We find ourselves indebted to these ancient civilizations and their government, philosophy, literature, mathematics, arts, and architecture for laying the foundations of Western society. We affirm that a connection to the JCL fosters greater understanding of modern life and academic excellence.
